The Altar Week 2

If you’re a follower of Christ and are wanting to take your relationship with Christ to the next level - this is the message for you. The first step? Surrendering control. It’s one thing to bring Him the broken things, but he wants us to give up control of the good things too. We can trust His dreams over our own!

Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28

Maybe God has placed us exactly where we are to love those right next to us.

“If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” - 1 John 4:20-21
